RESOLUTION 2021-069 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING A SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR <br />THE CITY MANAGER BASED ON EMPLOYEE <br />PERFORMANCE <br />WHEREAS, City of Santa Ana("City") and Kristine Ridge ("City Manager') entered <br />into that certain Employment Agreement dated April 30, 2019 (hereinafter "Employment <br />Agreement"), whereby Employee agreed to serve as the City Manager of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana City Charter and Employment Agreement <br />provides that the City Council shall conduct an annual performance evaluation of the City <br />Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted such evaluation on October 19, 2021 <br />resulting in positive performance appraisal and request for salary adjustment; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide a salary adjustment for the City <br />Manager. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves to provide the City Manager an <br />annual salary of $301,600 ("Annual Salary") with a possible additional increase in six <br />months based on continued positive performance. The Annual Salary shall be payable <br />in installment payments in the same manner and at the same times as salaries of other <br />executive managers of the City are paid. <br />Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br />Section 3.
