State of California— Office of Traffic Safety <br />GRANT AGREEMENT <br />Schedule B-1 <br />GRANT NUMBER <br />PS22025 <br />BUDGET NARRATIVE <br />PERSONNEL COSTS <br />TRAVEL EXPENSES <br />CONTRACTUAL SERVICES <br />Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety Education Program ($100,000) -A local community provider was <br />subcontracted through a competitive procurement process for FFY20-21 to provide the following services for <br />the Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety Education program for the Santa Ana Public Works Agency. <br />Task 1a: Bic! Basics Classes - Cost to include planning and conducting 4 Bicycling Basics Classes. A <br />minimum of 1 is to be taught in Spanish. <br />$4,100 x 4 = $16,400 <br />Task 1 b: Wrench and Ride Workshops - Cost to include planning and conducting 4 Wrench and Ride <br />Workshops. To be taught in English, Spanish or Vietnamese as needed. <br />$4,800 x 4 = $19,200 <br />Task 1c: Skateboard Education Workshop - Cost to include planning and conducting a Build Your Own <br />Skateboard Education Workshop. <br />$7,500 x 1 = $7,500 <br />Task 1d: LCI Seminar - Cost to include planning and conducting a League Cycling Instructor (LCI) <br />Certification Seminar. <br />$5,800 x 1 = $5,800 <br />Task 2a: Walking and Biking Assessment - Cost to include planning and conducting a community -led <br />Walking and Biking Assessment or collection of community pedestrian/bicyclist counts. <br />$2,000 x 1 = $2,000 <br />Task 2b: Action Planning Sessions - Cost to include planning and conducting 2 Action Planning Sessions <br />that will focus on quantitative and/or qualitative data collection and crash data analysis of pedestrian- and <br />bicyclist -involved traffic crashes. <br />$1,600 x 2 = $3,200 <br />Task 2c: Stakeholder Meetings - Cost to include planning and conducting 2 Stakeholder Engagement <br />Meetings with key City stakeholders responsible for traffic safety improvements. <br />$1,700 x 2 = $3,400 <br />Task 2d: Photo/Video Voice Project - Cost to include planning and conducting a Photo/Video Voice and/or <br />video voice training and project. <br />$4,300 x 1 = $4,300 <br />Task 2e: Community Roundtable - Cost to include planning and conducting a Community Roundtable, an <br />open house where community participants will share/present what they have learned through the program <br />with fellow residents and City staff. <br />$2,100 x 1 = $2,100 <br />Task 3a: Family Cycling Classes - Cost to include planning and conducting 4 Family Cycling Education <br />Classes.
