Daisy Cruz Planning Commissioner and with Kennedy Commission spoke in support of <br />the housing ordinance amendments. <br />Lucero Garcia Mondragon with Community Trust Thrive Santa Ana, asked council to <br />consider community land trusts and City's need for more affordable housing. <br />Jesus Santana with Sullivan En Accion spoke regarding the issues and cost of utilities <br />and regulated programs for the City residents. <br />Luis Sarmiento Program Manager with Community Trust Thrive Santa Ana, noted the <br />pandemic showed the right way to take care of most vulnerable residents, expressed the <br />need for affordable housing, requested to include Community Land trust in Housing <br />Opportunity Ordinance and requested local contractors. <br />regulations, encouraged <br />affordable housing. <br />Vo <br />1.
