LR 12.7.21 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-077 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING THE CITY'S UNIFORM <br />SCHEDULE OF MISCELLANEOUS FEES FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2021-2022 SPECIFIC TO ATHLETIC FIELDS AND <br />FACILITIES FEES <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. Each year, for the convenience of the public, the City Council gathers in a <br />single document a comprehensive listing of fees and service charges <br />imposed by the City upon those persons seeking services of value from the <br />City. <br />B. This document is known as the "Miscellaneous Fee Schedule" for Fiscal Year <br />2021-2022 and is on file in the Clerk of the Council office, and incorporated by <br />this reference. <br />C. The Miscellaneous Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 was adopted on <br />June 1, 2021 byway of Resolution No. 2021-027. <br />F. On September 15, 2020, the City Council received and approved the Parks, <br />Recreation and Community Services Agency ("PRCSA") Service and <br />Financial Sustainability Study that adopted new methodologies and tools for <br />sustaining PRCSA services long term. <br />G. The PRCSA Cost Recovery Policy was adopted on November 17, 2020 by <br />way of Resolution No. 2020-083. <br />H. The PRCSA Athletic Facility Reservation Policy was adopted on October 5, <br />2021 by way of Resolution 2021-056. <br />I. All of the aforementioned PRCSA policies and the study work together to <br />chart the future for the PRCSA to provide recreation and community services <br />to the City of Santa Ana. <br />J. The PRCSA is proposing to revise the athletic fields and facilities fees to be <br />consistent with the methodologies and tools set forth in the aforementioned <br />policies and study. In addition, as part of proposing this amendment to the <br />Miscellaneous Fee Schedule, PRCSA has analyzed the cost to administer the <br />Resolution No. 2021-077 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
