Councilmember Phan spoke in support of keeping the Delhi, Washington Square, and park <br />communities (Westfall Park, Floral Park, and Park Santiago) together; and requested the <br />Clerk of the Council Daisy Gomez to include redistricting as an agenda item on a regular <br />Council meeting for more awareness and public input. <br />Councilmember Lopez spoke in support of keeping the Cambodian population in the east side <br />and Sullivan community together and extending the redistricting timeline. <br />The Council unanimously requested more maps to be provided at the next meeting. <br />Mayor Sarmiento closed the public hearing at 5:40 p.m. <br />ADJOURNMENT —Adjourn the Special City Council meeting. <br />MINUTES: Mayor Sarmiento adjourned the Special City Council meeting at 6:20 p.m. <br />City Council Minutes 3 11/15/2021 <br />City Council 12 — 3 12/21/2021 <br />
