Purchase of Online Subscriptions for the Library <br />December 21, 2021 <br />Page 2 <br />• ABCmouse ($10,040.48) — A subscription -based digital education program for <br />children ages 2-8. Library patrons can access ABCmouse remotely from home or <br />anywhere there is an Internet connection. <br />• Mango Languages ($11,404.12) — An online language website that offers library <br />patrons an option to log in the website or use a mobile app to learn language <br />courses of their choice. <br />• Ancestry ($10,426.52) — An online database that offers billions of records in <br />census data, vital records, directories, photos, and more. <br />• Newspaper Archive Multi -State Collection ($10,215.00) — An online <br />subscription that offers library patrons access to over 350 newspapers across <br />California as well as other newspapers from other states such as Nevada, <br />Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. <br />• Newsbank ($13,470.00) — An online database that provides a comprehensive <br />collection of reliable news sources covering a wide array of topics and issues. It <br />offers local, regional, and national U.S. newspapers including the Orange County <br />Register. <br />By purchasing ABCmouse, Mango Languages, Ancestry, Newspaper Archive Multi -State <br />Collection, and Newsbank subscriptions directly from Califa Group, the SAPL realizes a <br />saving of $6,698.43.
