<br />landscapes, streetscapes and parks.
<br />He has managed public design projects
<br />including the master planning, design,
<br />and construction of municipal projects
<br />for more than 100 public agencies in California. Mr. Volz has a
<br />broad base of experience focused in the development process
<br />from inception through master plan development, construction
<br />document preparation, contract administration, and on -site
<br />inspection. His extensive knowledge of landscaping materials
<br />and vegetation is often called for at commission meetings
<br />and in council reports for agencies he has served. He has
<br />comprehensive experience in storm water treatments, habitat
<br />restoration, walking trails and water conservation.
<br />He has an excellent reputation forfacilitating community outreach
<br />programs for park design through the public input process. The
<br />public workshop process for park design is a concept that he
<br />always encourages. The opportunity to get first hand insights
<br />from users, neighbors, and the public in general is always
<br />beneficial in the design of public projects.
<br />Several of Mr. Volz's most successful park projects have
<br />benefited from the ideas and energy that were put forth at
<br />public input sessions. Public landscape, streetscape and park
<br />project experience is Mr. Volz's design focus. Serving in various
<br />capacities from principal -in -charge to designer, he has overseen
<br />scores of award -winning projects for cities, school districts and
<br />public agencies throughout California.
