Bacerra joined the meeting at 5:18 p.m. and Councilmember Mendoza came in at 5:24 p.m. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS — Members of the public may address the City Council on Closed <br />Session items. <br />MINUTES: Sandra Pocha Pena of Media Arts Santa Ana asked council to remove the Cypress <br />Station off the surplus list and work with the community to restore property. <br />Selica Diaz spoke in support of saving and restoring the Cypress Fire Station located at 625 S. <br />Cypress Avenue. In addition, advocates to having the Family Justice Center or a police <br />substation located at said address and requesting that council bring back City Park Rangers and a <br />fulitime parks cleaning crew. <br />Taylor Rudd spoke regarding his commitment to the restoration of the Cypress Fire Station. <br />Irma Jauregui supports keeping the property located at 625 S. Cypress Avenue and requested for a <br />proper assessment of said property followed by a community survey. <br />Prior to recessing to consider closed session items, Mayor Sarmiento made an announcement <br />regarding regular open session item 25. <br />CLOSED SESSION ITEMS — The Brown Act permits legislative bodies to discuss certain <br />matters without members of the public present. The City Council finds, based on advice from <br />the City Attorney, that discussion in open session of the following matters will prejudice the <br />position of the City in existing and anticipated litigation: <br />1. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR pursuant to Government <br />Code Section 54956.8: <br />Address of Property: 625 S.
