Orozco, Norma
From: Indigo Vu <indigo@vietrise.org>
Sent: Friday, March 11, 2022 3:59 PM
To: eComment
Subject: Santa Ana Redistricting Public Comment Submission - In support of newly submitted
SARC map and Map L
Dear Santa Ana City Council,
My name is Indigo, a resident of Santa Ana's Ward 1, and I am in support of the newly submitted SARC map
and Map L proposed by the Santa Ana Redistricting Committee. The newly submitted SARC map keeps
important communities of interests together. These include keeping the South Coast Metro area whole. It also
brings together similar neighorboods associations such as Santa Ana Memorial Park, Wilshire Square, and
Heninger Park. This map also provides substantial representation to environmentally impacted communities
such as Delhi and Madison Park by creating an environmental justice (EJ) district. Because of this, I strongly
advocate for the Santa Ana city council to adopt either of these maps.
Sincerely,
Indigo
i
