Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving <br />Day and Christmas Day. CONTRACTOR shall obtain prior written approval from <br />ADMINISTRATOR for any closure outside of COUNTY's holiday schedule and <br />the hours listed in Subparagraph 4.1 of this Attachment A. Any unauthorized <br />closure shall be deemed a material breach of this Agreement, pursuant to Paragraph <br />19, and shall not be reimbursed. <br />5. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />CONTRACTOR shall: <br />5.1 Assign staff who will work closely with each PARTICIPANT and utilize the <br />Employment Readiness Assessment (ERA) provided by ADMINISTRATOR to <br />understand the PARTICIPANT'S needs, assess career goals, arrange an appropriate <br />VTR assignment or WEX placement based on the employment goal indicated on <br />the referral. <br />5.2 Ensure that all services funded under this Agreement are coordinated with other <br />available services in the community (such as WIOA) and do not constitute <br />unnecessary duplication of services. <br />5.3 Provide VTR and WEX services to PARTICIPANTS to meet the required <br />participation hours indicated on the referral. The hourly participation requirements <br />are subject to change, according to State and federal mandates. <br />5.4 Assess all referred PARTICIPANTS to initiate enrollment or return invalid <br />referrals to ADMINISTRATOR within two (2) business days. <br />5.5 CONTRACTOR shall provide an orientation within three (3) business days to <br />PARTICIPANTS which includes providing information on program goals and <br />objectives; overview of VTR or WEX program; PARTICIPANT'S rights and <br />responsibilities; and Termination Policy and Grievance Policy. <br />5.6 Monitor and communicate with ADMINISTRATOR regarding all PARTICIPANT <br />attendance and participation. <br />5.7 Utilize workshops, one-on-one training, intensive case management, and coaching <br />WQM0522 Page 4 of23 March 1, 2022 <br />City Council 20 — 51 3/15/2022 <br />
