Partners consultant Paul Mitchell and staff. <br />Chief Assistant City Attorney Laura Rossini and Paul Mitchell addressed council <br />regarding the 10% deviation. <br />Mayor Sarmiento noted the responsibility the council has in selecting a map in the <br />spirit of good faith. <br />Councilmember Phan addressed council regarding the importance in working <br />together to come to consensus and select a map. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Bacerra spoke on environmental justice. <br />Clerk of the Council Daisy Gomez read the maps that council requested to be <br />elevated: L, L2 revised, M2, 118257, and 118741 with adjustments. Spoke on the <br />timeline. <br />After additional discussion, Clerk of the Council Daisy was asked to state the maps to <br />be elevated: L, L2 revised, M2, 118257, and 118741 (N), N2. <br />Councilmember Lopez requested to elevate map 118380. <br />Councilmember Phan inquired from colleagues if they were supportive of map <br />118257. After discussion, map was eliminated. <br />Councilmember Phan motioned to elevate maps L2 revised and N2. Seconded by <br />Councilmember Bacerra. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Bacerra inquired about the timeline. <br />After additional discussion, Councilmember Phan moved a new motion to elevate <br />map N2 and direct staff to prepare an resolution and ordinance to be brought back to <br />the April 5, 2022 Council meeting. <br />Adjournment — Adjourn the Special City Council meeting. <br />MINUTES: Mayor Sarmiento adjourned the City Council meeting at 7:28 p.m. <br />City Council Minutes 4 03/11/2022 <br />
