INSURANCE NOT ON FILE <br />WORK MAY NOT PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />A-2022-044 <br />DATE• FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH INVENGO AMERICA CORPORATION <br />DOING BUSINESS AS FE TECHNOLOGIES FOR RFID CONVERSION FOR THE SANTA <br />APR 19 2022 ANA PUBLIC LIBRARY <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into April 5, 2022, by and <br />between Invengo America Corp, a Texas corporation dba FE Technology ("Consultant"), and the City of <br />Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws <br />of the State of California ("City ). <br />LiVXW1 cmmia C*VV <br />RECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement No. A-2021-033 ("Agreement") dated March 16, 2021, to <br />retain Consultant to convert the City's Library circulation system to RFID technology, which <br />included the purchase of specific hardware including two (2) self -check-out kiosks, eight (8) <br />circulation assistant pads, and four (4) security gates. As well as training and support for the <br />new system. <br />B. The Agreement is current and in -effect through March 15, 2024. <br />C. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to expand the scope and increase compensation. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1. Section 1, Scope of Work, is hereby amended to include the addition of two (2) live scanning wands, <br />seven (7) additional circulation assistant pads, 18,000 RFID book tags, and second year maintenance <br />support as further detailed in Exhibit A-1 to this First Amendment, attached hereto. <br />2. Section 2, Compensation, is hereby amended to increase the total sum to be expended under this <br />Agreement from $82,284.94 to $101,401.34. <br />3.
