Exhibit 1 <br />JOINT -USE SITES <br />Owned by other agencies, joint -use sites are managed or maintained by the City of Santa Ana <br />through a joint -use agreements. In turn, these sites are open (or partially open) to the public to <br />increase access and opportunities for fitness and recreation. Located in public <br />rights -of -ways and flood control channels, <br />these corridors support non -motorized <br />transportation, recreation and access to <br />parks. A key component of the City's trail <br />system is the proposed "Golden Loop." <br />This future bike trail will eventually provide <br />15 miles of connected facilities around <br />the periphery of the city, running along <br />the Santa Ana River and connecting to <br />other local and regional trails.
