111 ICAIT 11r%K1TAP1T SBCTA is slated to replace a nearly century old bridge that spans 1,100 <br />DENNIS SAYLOR feet over the Burlington Northern Santa Fe rail yard in San Bernardino, and <br />PROJECT MANAGER provides a vital connection between north and south San Bernardino. The <br />t: 909.889.8611 existing bridge is structurally deficient with a sufficiency rating of 2/100 and <br />e: dsaylor@gosbcta.com is in urgent need of replacement. The new Mount Vernon Avenue bridge will <br />include two travel lanes in each direction, center median, sidewalks, a new <br />DATE OF SERVICES bike lane and a new bridge that meets the latest structural safety and seismic <br />2018 - Ongoing standards. <br />The program consists of 36 full take acquisitions of single family and multi - <br />SERVICES PROVIDED family residential properties resulting in the displacement of 42 residential <br />Project Management occupants. Additionally, the project required 15 partial acquisitions affecting <br />Property Management commercial, industrial, residential, auto repair, motel and car wash properties <br />Project Planning as well as the BNSF rail yard. <br />Acquisition <br />Relocation Curtis Bibolet, Monument's Property Management Manager, provided <br />comprehensive interim property management services for 30 properties for <br />two years while properties were being vacated prior to demolition. Curtis <br />oon JECT COST was responsible for all board -ups, coordination of fencing for multiple <br />$2.7 Million Right -of -Way Costs <br />$2Million properties throughout multiple phases, and regular site inspections. The <br />project experienced major issues with the homeless and crime during all <br />phases of vacating the residents. Curtis was regularly coordinating with law <br />enforcement to extract the homeless and secure the properties. <br />Curtis was also responsible for the coordination of pre -demolition activities including lead testing and abatement <br />and removal of hazardous materials. He also coordinated with all utility companies for the transfer and <br />disconnection of utilities. Curtis also coordinated the removal of utility meters prior to the demolition of structures. <br />Curtis and his Team successfully completed the interim property management of the project and maintained the <br />project delivery schedule. <br />City Council <br />28 — 190 <br />5/17/2022 <br />monument <br />
