UNDERSTANDS THE <br />IMPORTANCE OF PROPERTY <br />TZ MANAGEMENTAND RIGHT <br />OF WAY <br />UTILITY RELOCATION <br />WIZARD <br />Q A HANDS ON MANAGER <br />A GUY YOU LIKE TO WORK <br />WITH! <br />MASTER OF FEDERAL <br />AND STATE LAW <br />CURTIS' EXPERIENCE CONTINUED <br />LENWOOD ROAD GRADE SEPARATION PROJECT <br />San nernaraino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) I Barstow, CA <br />For this grade separation project, Curtis provided property management services <br />including oversight for demolition, clearance, and hazardous abatement for 15 <br />structures. Curtis provided property management services and managed all <br />property maintenance subconsultants during both the Preliminary Engineering and <br />Environmental Document and Final Design phases. The Pro] ect's purpose was to <br />construct an overpass over the BNSF railroad. <br />NORTH FIRST AVENUE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT OVER BNSF RAIL YARD <br />City of Barstow I Barstow, CA <br />Utilizing Caltrans Highway Bridge funds, the City is replacing the bridge to <br />correct structural deficiencies. Curtis provided utility coordination services for 28 <br />utility conflicts in the original design and ultimately coordinated relocations for 11 <br />facilities. Utilities affected included City of Barstow sewer, Golden State Water, <br />Southwest Gas, Edison, Time Warner Cable, and Verizon. Curtis managed all <br />property management and maintenance for the project, procured the most qualified <br />abatement and demolition providers and worked with the City for approval of all <br />vendors. He also provided cost estimates for the utility relocations for the Caltrans <br />Right of Way Data Sheet and certification package. <br />1-5 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />Orange County Transportation Authority I Orange, CA <br />This 9-mile highway corridor improvement project improves the 1-5 between the <br />1-405 and SR-55, Curtis identified right-of-way and utility impacts associated with <br />two build alternates. Based on the preliminary geometric plans, Curtis prepared <br />Caltrans Right of Way Data Sheets for review and approval by OCTA and Caltrans <br />District 12. He prepared a detailed scope, schedule, and estimated cost of utility <br />relocations. Curtis identified low and high -risk utility areas within the project limits <br />which may be subject to the requirements of the California Public Utility Commission <br />General Order 131-D. <br />CALLE CONTENTO/RANCHO CALIFORNIA ROAD ROUNDABOUT PROJECT <br />Riverside CountyTransportatlon uepartment I Iemecula Valley, CA <br />The Temecula Valley Wine Country Community Plan adopted by the Riverside <br />County Board of Supervisors includes the implementation of roundabouts at five <br />intersections across four miles of Rancho California Road between Butterfield <br />Stage Road and Glenoaks Road. Curtis provided property management and <br />utility coordinator services as the subconsultant to the design engineer. Curtis <br />was responsible for collection of the as -built plan, created a utility conflict matrix, <br />reviewed utility exhibits, and drafted license agreements. In the absence of a <br />Construction Manager for this project, as Utility Coordinator, Curtis was engaged <br />during construction phase and coordinating with the contractor and affected utility <br />agencies. <br />City Council <br />28 — 207 5/17/2022 <br />
