CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />RFP NO.: 21-127 <br />SA-2 PRESSURE CONTROL STATION RELOCATION AND TRANSMISSION MAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />6. Identify all hydraulic conditions to use in conjunction with the City <br />Hydraulic Model to ensure satisfactory operations under normal operating <br />conditions if required. In the event that the pipe discharge line to Walnut <br />Reservoir is used to increase system headloss, material fatigue shall be <br />considered a factor when selecting the pipe line material. <br />It is anticipated that MWD will require a transient analysis of the new <br />pressure control station. The Consultant shall work with MWD to define <br />the analysis criteria, assist the City is coordination with MWD and provide <br />a report that meets MWD's satisfaction. <br />8. Prepare preliminary horizontal alignment of water transmission and <br />distribution main upgrades including all utility relocations. Prepare <br />preliminary transmission main pipe bypass drawings showing a bypass <br />into Walnut Reservoir. <br />9. Prepare site improvements, preliminary horizontal alignment and profile of <br />the lot that will be altered due to the construction and by adding a new <br />security wall at the property. <br />10. Preparation of a preliminary estimate of probable cost. <br />11. Preparation of preliminary staging for construction including a traffic <br />management plan and traffic control plans. <br />12. Outline the preparation and submittal process of all required permits <br />associated with getting the project approved and ready for construction. <br />This includes estimated time frames for processing said permits. <br />13. Prepare a Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP). <br />13. Prepare required documents and assist in Environmental approvals. <br />In the event that an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is deemed <br />necessary, the Consultant shall prepare all necessary documentation <br />as required by CEQA. The Consultant shall include an initial study <br />and mitigated negative declaration in their proposal fee. A fee for an <br />EIR shall be an optional item in the event that an EIR is required. <br />Upon receiving comments from the Project Manager, the Consultant shall <br />incorporate all appropriate and agreed upon comments and submit the final <br />Basis of Design Report. The final submittal of the Basis of Design Report shall <br />include five (5) hard copies and one bound accordingly and one (1) electronic <br />copy and shall be delivered to the Project Manager. <br />Task 6. 60% Construction Document (PS&E) Submittal <br />Page 7 of 11 <br />
