Restore dedication plaque on north entrance sidewalk. <br />g. East Entrance <br />i. Make secondary public entrance at current staff access to fenced patio <br />ii. Create parking area along east or south side of building for library exclusively <br />iii. Keep as many trees as feasible <br />iv. Create a drive-thru window considering circulation on/off of Ross St. <br />1. If feasible, ensure it does not detract from historic nature of the building <br />It. South Entrance <br />i. The old freight elevator from the late 1950's should be removed as it is not functional and <br />no longer needed <br />in. Identify opportunities to allocate square footage for additional meeting/study room space <br />if possible <br />n. A new roof was recently completed <br />1. Interior <br />a. General building <br />i. Consider elevator relocation with modern elevator <br />ii. Review/consider replacing all building systems <br />iii. Include technology in all meeting rooms <br />iv. Replace all flooring throughout <br />v. Upgrade all restrooms. May need to adjust access or location of restrooms to <br />accommodate new layout that is more in line with original plans. They were <br />modified and relocated in 1990. <br />vi. Shelving needs assessment/shelving program — Replace all book stacks <br />vii.
