Both parents will be provided with classes, education, and support that <br />will teach them coping skills, resiliency, and strategies for self -care to improve their mental health. They will learn <br />how to recognize the signs and symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, <br />and what to do if recognized. Mothers and fathers will build networks of support and relationships with other <br />moms and dads. Pregnant women and new mothers who are survivors/victims of domestic violence will be <br />provided with supplemental/specialized home visitation, referrals, support, and coaching <br />ig FY23, MOMS' will accomplish the following: <br />• At least 423 Santa Ana mothers, fathers, and babies each year will receive individualized education, <br />support, and/or mental health therapy. <br />• Less than 10% of women will give birth prematurely. <br />• Less than 10% of babies will be born with a low -birth weight. <br />• Less than 10% of babies will be admitted to the NICU. <br />• At least 90% of babies will be on -track to meet important developmental milestones at graduation. <br />• Low-income families will receive health education and promotion of health care and vaccinations. At <br />program exit, at least 90%of babies will have a medical home and at least 90%will be on -track with their <br />vaccinations. <br />• MOMS Orange County will provide approximately 3,000 home visitation encounters for residents of Santa <br />Ana. <br />• Low-income families will receive referrals to community resources that may help them meet their <br />physical and mental health needs, and access basic needs like food, housing, domestic violence support <br />and shelter, and financial assistance. <br />• Low-income families will receive donations of material goods including diapers, wipes, clothing, toys, <br />books, and even car seats as available. <br />• MOMS Orange County will provide 100% of participants with screening for depression/anxiety (once <br />prenatally and once postpartum) and case management with support and access to professional services <br />0cua111ira <br />
