CITY OF SANTA ANA FY 22/23CIP <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WORKSHEET <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />This traffic safety improvements project will modify the traffic signal <br />at the intersection of Warner Avenue at Wright Street/Brookhollow <br />Drive to enhance the safety of motorists and pedestrians when <br />traversing this intersection. The improvement will separate the left <br />turning vehicle movement from pedestrians and bicyclists <br />eliminating the potential for conflict. These project improvements are <br />known to reduce vehicular and pedestrian involved collisions. <br />PROJECT NEED: <br />The Federal Highway Administration has identified Santa Ana has a <br />focus city due to its high number of documented pedestrian collision <br />history.
