The average apartment <br />rent in Santa Ana was $1,497 in 2013, a 31 percent increase over 8 years or an approximate 4 percent <br />increase per year for the 8-vear period (see Table A-12). Although rents have increased over the <br />decade, the median income of Santa Ana's renter households has remained relatively flat.
