INSURANCE ON FILE <br />A-2019-190-04 <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />�• 1-23 <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE <br />DATN <br />JANITORIAL SERVICES AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS <br />0 <br />�s THIS FOURTH AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on June 27, <br />2022 by and between Universal Building Maintenance, LLC, dba Allied Universal Janitorial <br />Services ("Contractor"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />6: PWA( Va41,1cI, P74)�3J�-L RECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement No. A-2019-190, dated October 15, 2019, by which <br />Contractor agreed to provide janitorial services at various city facilities, including City Hall, <br />the Main Library, and the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center ("Agreement"). <br />B. On March 1, 2020, the parties entered into First Amendment No. A-2019-190-01, by which <br />the Agreement was amended to expand the scope of services to include enhanced cleaning <br />services on an as -needed basis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to increase the amount to <br />be expended under the Agreement accordingly. <br />C. On April 1, 2021, the parties entered into Second Amendment No. A-2019-190-02, by which <br />the Agreement was amended to include additional cleaning services on an as -needed basis <br />made necessary by the relocation of Water Resources Division staff from the City's Corporate <br />Yard to various other water facilities because of the COVID-19 pandemic, including mobile <br />offices and restrooms. <br />D. On January 3, 2022, the parties entered into Third Amendment No. A-2019-190-03 by which <br />the agreement was amendment to increase the compensation for said pandemic services and <br />extend the term for provision of same said services through June 30, 2022. The current term <br />of the original Agreement runs through October 31, 2022 and the Agreement is current and in - <br />effect. <br />E. The parties now wish to further amend the Agreement specific to the pandemic related services <br />stemming from the Second Amendment to the Agreement, increase the compensation for said <br />pandemic services, and extend the term for provision of same said services through December <br />31, 2022. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1. Section 1, Scope of Services, is amended to include the services and locations described in <br />Exhibit A to this Fourth Amendment, attached hereto. <br />2. Section 2.a, Compensation, is amended to increase the total amount to be expended under the <br />Agreement by $36,000 for the period from July 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022. The sum <br />of this amount includes the monthly costs, as detailed in Exhibit A, for a total base amount of <br />$29,790 with a contingency amount of $6,210 for additional services as requested at the sole <br />discretion of the City. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
