AT CITY'S CHICANO HERITAGE FESTIVAL <br />CV <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this a�, day of August, 2022, by and between <br />Francine Garcia, an individual ("Contractor"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of <br />California ("City"). <br />S� (SAN RECITALS <br />A. The City desires to retain a contractor to provide a live performance at the City's <br />Chicano Heritage Festival. <br />B. Contractor represents that Contractor is able and willing to provide such services to <br />the City. <br />C. In undertaking the performance of this Agreement, Contractor represents that it is <br />knowledgeable in its field and that any services performed by Contractor under this <br />Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards as may reasonably <br />be expected. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />tears and conditions hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />a. Contractor shall provide a performance by musical artist Little Willie G. <br />("Artist"), as fiuther detailed in Exhibit A, for the City's Chicano Heritage <br />Festival on August 28, 2022 at El Salvador Pads, 1825 West Civic Center Dr., Santa <br />Ana, CA 92701. <br />b. Contractor shall ensure that Artist provides a forty-five (45) minute live musical <br />performance, beginning at or around 7:15pm PST. <br />C. City requests that Artist be aware of and respect that the Chicano Heritage <br />Festival draws a crowd of varying ages and extend colutesies to limit profanity <br />and material that may otherwise be considered inappropriate. <br />2. COMPENSATION <br />a. City agrees to pay, and Contractor agrees to accept as total payment for its services <br />for City, including all travel expenses and performance by Artist, the rates and <br />charges identified in Exhibit A. The total amount to be expended under this <br />Agreement shall not exceed Seven Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($7,000.00). <br />b.
