Admissions Process for Vocational Program <br />Evaluation of the applicant's enrollment application is necessary for acceptance. <br />All applicants must provide the following: <br />• A completed Admissions Application Form <br />• Attend Orientation Workshop. Orientation provides an overview of the program, <br />reviews the enrollment process, assesses qualifications, and review of the documents to <br />be completed. <br />• Pay Application Fee, non-refundable after 5 days if applicable <br />• A clear and legible copy of government issued photo identification <br />• Applicants are required to have the following proof of education: <br />• Education: One of the following <br />o High School diploma/transcripts from a school in the US, or <br />o Transcripts indicating their program was taught in English, or <br />o General Education Degree (GED), or <br />o Most recent transcript from post -secondary US institution <br />And, in all cases consistent with 5 CCR §71770. Admissions Standards and <br />Transferred Credits Policy. <br />• Advanced candidates with prior experience may transfer in credit or have credit <br />awarded based on submission of transcripts and/or Letters of Experience. Each <br />program has its own determination of acceptance of transferred credit or prior <br />experience awarded. Questions on this should be addressed during the admissions <br />process. <br />• Completion of a signed Enrollment Agreement and Student Performance Fact Sheet and <br />received by GMC prior to the program start date. <br />• Applicants must complete all financial arrangements before the program start. <br />Orientation <br />Orientation is a required first step in the admissions process. Students must have successfully <br />completed the Orientation prior to the first day of class. The orientation will provide an <br />overview of the school, the program, our policies, practices, and procedures, and review of <br />expectations and student conduct. Students will review the Enrollment Agreement, School <br />Performance Fact Sheets, and other program documentation. Students who wish to continue <br />into the program must sign and date the Enrollment Agreement, School Performance Fact <br />Sheets, and confirm their payment option. <br />Students must submit all required paperwork prior to the first day of class to begin their <br />program of study. Students are required to purchase a set of blue scrubs to wear to class. <br />Scrubs are not included in the tuition or fees. <br />Review of Catalog and School Performance Fact Sheet <br />Prior to signing the Enrollment Agreement, students are given a catalog and a School <br />Performance Fact Sheet, which students are encouraged to review prior to signing the <br />Enrollment Agreement.
