MINUTES: City Manager Kristine Ridge provided a brief presentation. <br />Council discussion ensued and direction provided to staff. <br />Councilmember Lopez requested staff to provide a report regarding the transient <br />population in ward 3. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Bacerra requested data on response times. <br />8. OC Streetcar Project— Orange County Transportation Authority— INVITED <br />MINUTES: City Manager Kristine Ridge noted Orange County Transit Authority <br />(OCTA) correspondence was received. <br />Mayor Sarmiento directed staff to prepare a letter requesting OCTA staff to attend <br />future meeting and provide a project status. <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT — The City Attorney will report on any action(s) from Closed <br />Session. <br />MINUTES: Nothing to report out. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT — Public comments will be held during the beginning of the meeting for <br />ALL comments on agenda and non -agenda items, with the exception of public hearings. <br />Comments for public hearings will take place after the hearing is opened. <br />MINUTES: Nick Anas, on behalf of Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley provided an update <br />on financial relief grant funding. <br />Valentin Martinez spoke in support of item 13. <br />Mimi Mac spoke in support of item 13. Thanked council on item 54. <br />Kimberly Castro with Latino Health Access requested council to continue to invest in youth <br />programs. <br />Moises Vazquez with Latino Health Access urged council to continue to invest in youth programs <br />and expressed support for a police oversight committee. <br />Victor Mendez provided comment on the budget. <br />Maribel Gomez spoke regarding the Orange County Streetcar project. <br />Ana Laura Padilla spoke regarding the Orange County Streetcar project. <br />Clerk of the Council Daisy Gomez reported out on correspondence received. <br />City Council 4 6/21/2022 <br />
