Water in Orange County Needs "One Voice" <br />uses.4 OCWD's primary role is to manage the basin and provide local water retailers with a <br />reliable, adequate, and high -quality supply of water.5 In addition, OCWD operates the <br />Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) in partnership with the Orange County Sanitation <br />District (OCSAN). This state-of-the-art water purification project can produce over 100 million <br />gallons of high -quality potable water per day for aquifer recharge.
