Parks, Recreation, and Community Services <br />_ www.santa-ana.org/parks <br />Item # 15 <br />r City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />Staff Report <br />October 4, 2022 <br />TOPIC: Agreement Amendment with Al Party Rental for Event Equipment Rental <br />Services <br />AGENDA TITLE: <br />Agreement Amendment with Al Party Rental for Event Equipment Rental Services at City <br />Events to Increase the Annual Amount by $64,000 per Year through March 31, 2025, for <br />a total Increase of $192,000 and New Agreement Total of $450,000 (General Fund) <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement amendment with Al Party Rental <br />for event equipment rental services at City events to increase the annual amount by <br />$64,000 per year through March 31, 2025, for a total increase of $192,000 and new <br />agreement total of $450,000, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On March 15, 2022, the City of Santa Ana awarded an agreement to Al Party Rental for <br />equipment rental services at City Events. The award was made through a request for <br />proposal process where Al was selected. The number of City events originally planned <br />when the request for proposal was issued has since increased and the City is looking to <br />increase the annual amount by $64,000 for a total increase of $192,000 and total new total <br />agreement amount of $450,000 for the period through March 31, 2025 to accommodate the <br />additional events that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency will <br />undertake. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />City Council 15-1 10/4/2022 <br />
