Vote NO on the Revised Ordinances, and <br />2. Remand to Staff with Direction for Further Amendment <br />of Proposed Ordinances. <br />Dear Honorable Mayor Sarmiento and Council Persons: <br />This Firm represents Kingsley Management Corporation, and its affiliated companies which <br />manage, own, and operate with care and concern for the residents within multiple mobilehome parks, <br />representing 478 resident occupied spaces, in the City of Santa Ana. The care and concern for residents <br />is exemplified by the careful protection of their housing through strict adherence to the numerous <br />governmental orders issued and statutes as amended frequently by various levels of governmental <br />entities prior to and during the challenges presented due to the pandemic. <br />This correspondence ("Opposition") is offered in opposition to the proposed amendments to both <br />Rent Stabilization Ordinance, NS-3009 (RSO) and Just Cause Eviction Ordinance, NS 3010 <br />("Ordinances") and to preserve and reserve all rights of my clients and the mobilehome parks so <br />represented.
