CJMNS <br />Moss Landing Wastewater System Rehabilitation, <br />Castroville, CA. Associate Grant Writer. MNS services <br />include project management, technical services, <br />administrative support to comply with loan agreement <br />tasks including reimbursement preparation and drafting <br />and submitting routine progress reports. Project <br />deliverables include Preliminary Engineering Report, <br />Moss Landing Plan of Study, and FAAST Application. <br />Valley Village Stormwater Management Project, <br />Proposition 1 Stormwater Program, Los Angeles, CA. <br />Associate Grant Writer. MNS prepared a Proposition 1 <br />Stormwater Implementation Grant application for the <br />Valley Village Park Stormwater Project. To minimize the <br />region's dependence on imported water, the project will <br />capture 158 AFY of runoff from a 453-acre tributary area <br />and recharge the San Fernando Valley Groundwater <br />Basin. The project consists of installing a 0.65-acre <br />underground infiltration gallery at Valley Village Park. <br />Construction of the underground infiltration gallery <br />includes installation of a storm drain diversion structure, <br />stormwater pipeline, two hydrodynamic separator (HDS) <br />units, flow measuring devices, and maintenance holes. <br />Utility Relocation Environmental Monitoring, <br />Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA. Environmental <br />Technician. Assisted with monitoring, inspection, <br />enforcement, and surveying activities of environmental <br />programs or projects as assigned. Assisted with <br />maintaining inspections files, records, and logs; writing <br />reports and chronologies; maintaining and updating <br />various databases and filing and record keeping <br />systems. Applied an understanding of permitting and <br />monitoring requirements to assist with efforts to monitor <br />and protect identified endangered animal species such <br />as the California Red -Legged Frog and Vernal Pool Fairy <br />Shrimp, and plant species of concern such as Seacliff <br />Buckwheat, and the Gaviota Tarplant. Prepared a grant application <br />to fund a new trail and bridge connection to Vincent Lugo <br />Park. <br />District Administrative Support, Los Olivos <br />Community Services District, CA. Project Coordinator. <br />Assisted with managing LOCSD's Streamline website, <br />including uploading meeting agendas, minutes, video <br />recordings and other documents as required by the <br />Brown Act and the Special District Leadership <br />Foundation (SDLF). Meeting with Streamline (website <br />server platform) to discuss changes to the website in <br />preparation for an upcoming Benefit Assessment <br />Election. Assisted the Board in meeting requirements for <br />the SDLF Certificate of Transparency to certify LOCSD <br />as a Special District. Revised and distributed documents <br />though email and LISPS to stakeholders, including <br />meeting agendas and quarterly District updates. <br />Managed calendar content and email accounts to assist <br />Board members in being accountable, on track, and up to <br />date with stakeholder communications.
