Division 16 is hereby added to Article IV of Chapter 2 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to read as follows: CHAPTER 2 ARTICLE IV DIVISION 16—POLICE OVERSIGHT COMMISSION Sec.2-660.Establishment and Purpose. There is hereby established a Police Oversight Commission (hereinafter referred to as the "Commission"). The purpose of the Commission shall be to improve transparency, increase the accountability of and public confidence in the Santa Ana Police Department, and provide for an Independent Oversight Director.
