Historic Property Preservation Agreement No. 202205 – Pedro Gomez, Case <br />Planner <br />Project Location: 419 E. Wellington Avenue <br />Project Applicant: Duane Rohrbacher and Shannon Quihuiz <br />Project Description: The applicant is requesting approval to execute a Mills Act <br />Agreement with the City of Santa Ana for the above mentioned property that is currently <br />listed on the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties. <br />Environmental Impact: In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) and the CEQA Guidelines, the project is exempt from further review pursuant <br />to Section 15331 of the CEQA Guidelines (Class 31 – Historical Resource <br />Restoration/Rehabilitation) as these actions are designed to preserve historic <br />resources. Notice of Exemption, Environmental Review No. 202284 will be filed for this <br />project. <br />Recommended Action: Recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager <br />and Clerk of the Council to execute a Historic Property Preservation Agreement (Mills <br />Act) with Duane Rohrbacher ;and Shannon Quihuiz for the property located at 419 E. <br />Wellington Avenue, subject to nonsubstantive changes approved by the City Manager <br />and City Attorney. <br />Questions and comments made by the Commission include a discussion of the <br />property.
