INSURANCE ON FILE. <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />UN111- INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />I • \ • 2 ozs <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE: <br />A-2022-224 <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT SUBRECIPIENT <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND 211 ORANGE <br />COUNTY <br />(24 CFR Parts 91 and 576) <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT SUBRECIPIENT <br />AGREEMENT is entered into this 15`t day of November, 2022, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a <br />charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and 211 Orange County <br />("Subrecipient"). <br />00 <br />V--+ RECITALS <br />A. On July 1, 2022, the City entered into an Emergency Solutions Grant Subrecipient Agreement <br />with 211 Orange County, A-2022-093-03, to provide Emergency Funds from the 'United States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to be used in the operation of an <br />emergency solution program for the homeless or at risk of homelessness of the City of Santa Ana <br />("said agreement"). <br />B. In an effort to provide additional housing assistance activities to serve Santa Ana residents <br />experiencing homelessness, $22,340.92 will be reallocated to the 211 Orange County HMIS Data <br />Collection. <br />C. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to amend to <br />increase funds to the Subrecipient, which need to be spent by June 30, 2023. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration ot'the mutual and respective promises. and subject to the terms <br />and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Paragraph 5, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by S22,340.92 in additional <br />Data Collection and Outreach and Engagement Services. The new total sum shall be increased <br />from S 128,593 to an amount not to exceed S 150,933.92 in grant funding. <br />Section 1, subsection A, shall be amended to add the specific tasks required of the new funds as <br />depicted in Subrecipient's Scope of Services attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein <br />by reference. <br />3. Section III, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by S22,340.92 for a total sum <br />not to exceed 5150,933.92. Subrecipient's Budget for these new funds is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />B and incorporated herein by reference. <br />4. Except as hereinabove modified. the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged <br />and in full force and effect. <br />
