o Deliverables include: Design and resulting implementation of professional development <br />for librarians and potential area educators, summary of next steps to increase capacity <br />of library staff. <br />The year one PD sequence will focus on designing toward Connected Learning (Ito et al., 2013). <br />inected Learning <br />After participating in these workshops, library staff will be able to: <br />• Understand and apply connected learning principles to library programming (group, face- <br />to-face, online); <br />• Design programs and activities based on student interests in their area (e.g., YA, children, <br />families); <br />• Evaluate the effectiveness of their programs per a connected learning model <br />Note: The library has requested that workshops occur on a bi-monthly schedule as listed below.
