CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />RFP NO.: 22-110 <br />GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL SUPPLY AND DELIVERY SERVICES <br />The equipment required for the fuel trucks and trailers include, but are not limited to the <br />following: <br />1. Fire extinguisher, Rated 2A10BC or better <br />2. Electronic backup alarm at a minimum of 97 dB <br />3. Spill kit <br />4. Secondary containment for dispensing area <br />5. Chock blocks of appropriate size for the tire diameter <br />6. Flashlight <br />7. No smoking signs posted on the front, rear, and sides <br />8. Department of Transportation (DOT) standard reflectors <br />The rental rates provided shall be the maximum rates to be paid and may not be exceeded <br />without prior written approval. On mobilization and demobilization days, "hours in service" <br />include transit to and from the incident. Hours in service also include time spent in staging <br />during the assigned shift. The Contractor shall provide rates based on the number of hours <br />that the equipment is in service and under the City of Santa Ana command in calendar day. <br />Hired Equipment Shift Rates unless otherwise noted is issued one of three rates as <br />determined by shift type; reduced, standard, and extended as detailed below: <br />1. Reduced Rate: Rate paid for up to eight (8) hours in service in calendar day. <br />2. Standard Rate: Rate paid for greater than eight (8) hours and up to sixteen <br />(16) hours in service in a calendar day. <br />3. Extended Rate: Rate paid for greater than sixteen (16) hours in service in a <br />calendar day. Equipment is only eligible for this rate when ordered as a 24-hour <br />resource. <br />On mobilization and demobilization days, "hours in service" included transit to and from the <br />incident. Hours in service include time spent in staging during the assigned shift. <br />In addition, Wet and Dry Rates include (unless otherwise notes, all rates are "Wet"): <br />A. Wet rates include depreciation, indirect ownership costs, major overhaul cost, <br />labor and parts for routine maintenance and repair, transportation, pilot <br />vehicles, operators, PPE, fuel, lubricants, and operating supplied necessary for <br />the equipment to perform as ordered. <br />B. Service vehicles and service personnel are included in the rates. <br />C. Equipment hired "dry" does not include operators orfuel; The City shall provide <br />these as necessary for the equipment to perform as ordered.
