N"U 11N' L ON 1 .L <br />WON MAY PROCEED <br />LM FII.INSURANCE EXPIRES A-2023-001 <br />_2-'s -2O23_ <br />CLERK OF COUNCI <br />IIPIT F <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH ADAMS STREETER CIVIL <br />ENGINEERS, INC., TO PROVIDE ON -CALL DEVELOPMENT PLAN CHECKING <br />SERVICES FOR WATER RESOURCES DIVISION <br />L_ <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on January 17, <br />2023, by and between Adams Streeter Civil Engineers, Inc. ("Consultant"), and the City of Santa <br />Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and <br />laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />&.-V W A RECITALS <br />A. Following City's issuance of Request for Proposal No. 21-020, the parties entered into <br />Agreement No. A-2021-085, dated June 1, 2021, by which Consultant agreed to provide on - <br />call development plan checking services for the Water Resources Division of the City's <br />Public Works Agency ("Agreement"). <br />B. The Agreement is current and in effect through May 31, 2024. <br />C. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the annual not to exceed amount <br />under the Agreement due to an increase in volume of plans submitted to the City. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />Section 2.a., Compensation, is amended to increase the annual not to exceed amount by <br />$50,000 for a total annual not to exceed amount of $200,000 for the remainder of the term of <br />the Agreement. <br />2.
