Orozco, Norma
From: martha santos <msaga.24@yahoo.com>
Sent: Monday, February 06, 2023 1:54 PM
To: eComment
Cc: Lopez, Jessie; Amezcua, Valerie; Phan, Thai; Bacerra, Phil; Vazquez, Benjamin;
ryanhernandez@santa-ana.org; Penaloza, David
Subject: Item 32; unpermitted and unsafe sidewalk food vendors.
Santa Ana Council,
As a resident of Santa Ana who has lived here all my life, I would like to see these ILLEGAL and
UNSAFE taco stands/sidewalk food vendors gone from our city. They posed a health threat to our
community. They block views of incoming traffic, encourage cars to stop illegally (while they buy
food), cause congestion, and a health hazard of possibly contaminated food. It's not fair to the
businesses in our city that conduct food sales here and do it the legal way, and aesthetically it makes
our city look dirty because they leave trash near their stands.
It's time that you as city representatives take action and help make Santa Ana great again !!
Thank you,
MSAGA
i
