CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />RFP NO.: 22-110 <br />GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL SUPPLY AND DELIVERY SERVICES <br />In addition to the underground storage tanks, the City of Santa Ana maintains and operates <br />five (5) emergency diesel powered generators. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS <br />The Contractor shall provide a fleet of trucks adequate to handle the City of Santa Ana's <br />needs. All vehicles utilized to service the City of Santa Ana shall be equipped with a radio <br />dispatch system or a mobile telephone access as well as have the capability of providing <br />printed metered tickets at the time of delivery. In addition, the Contractor's delivery <br />vehicles/trucks must comply with the latest California Air Resources Board approved/certified <br />Phase II Vapor Recovery Equipment Requirements and any other applicable regulations. <br />The following delivery requirements shall be implemented by the Contractor when supplying <br />and delivering gasoline, diesel fuel, and other petroleum based products to the City of Santa <br />Ana: <br />Carriage vehicles shall be fully equipped, in good mechanical condition and <br />appearance, and always bearing the correct placard identification of the fuel being <br />delivered. <br />2. Hoses and coupler fittings shall be tight when in use. Product that leaks from hoses <br />or couple connections shall be cleaned up and removed by the Contractor, including <br />product in spill containers. <br />3. Delivery truck drivers shall stick each tank with a fuel tank gauge stick prior to <br />offloading to ensure that adequate fuel storage is available to accept the entire <br />shipment without spillage. Readings shall be taken by the driver prior to unloading fuel <br />and after unloading fuel and shall be recorded on the delivery receipts. <br />4. The Contractor shall provide a delivery metered ticket for each delivery of fuel and the <br />metered ticket must be signed, dated, and provided to the ordering agency at delivery. <br />5.
