EXEMPT FROM FEES PUr ,_ .ANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br />Property for its intact display of the characteristics of a Spanish Colonial <br />Revival style that reached its apex during the 1920s and 1930s. <br />The house is eligible to be categorized as Landmark for its unique <br />architectural significance illustrated by its low-pitched cross gabled, <br />red tiled roof; cantilevered Monterey style balcony wrapping the <br />south wing; archedcorbelling marking a shallow second story <br />overhang; and a deeply recessed entry way with a solid wood door <br />embellished with iron bolts and hardware. <br />2. The house is eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic <br />Places. <br />3. The legal owners of the subject property are Michael and Joanne <br />Sokolski. <br />4. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set <br />forth herein. <br />C. The Carden house, located at 2006 North Victoria Drive, Santa Ana was <br />built in 1931. It qualifies for listing in the Santa Ana Register of Historical <br />Property as an example of the distinguishing characteristics of the Tudor <br />Revival style most popular during the 1920s and 1930s. <br />1. The structure is eligible to be categorized as Landmark for its <br />unique architectural significance illustrated by its asymmetrical <br />rectangular shape; medium -pitched cross -gabled roof; carved <br />bargeboards and decorative half-timbering; pair of leaded glass <br />casement windows with diamond patterned lights on the upper, <br />floor; a Tudor arch framing a deeply recessed entryway; and a <br />dramatic chimney with a cluster of three angled, brick stack with <br />corbelled caps. <br />2. The property qualifies for listing on the National Register of Historic <br />Places. <br />3. The legal owner of the subject property is Angel Barnes. <br />4. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set <br />forth herein. <br />D. The Russell House, located at 2009 North Victoria Drive, Santa Ana, was <br />built in 1927.
