City of Santa Ana Agreement No.: D2202006 Project No.: 3010038-002C Page 10 of 49 EXHIBIT A — SCOPE OF WORK A.1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION, USEFUL LIFE, AND SCOPE OF WORK. (a) The Project is the project set forth on the Cover Page of this Agreement. (b) The Useful Life of this Project is at least 20 years. (c) Scope of Work. The Recipient agrees to replace approximately 43,000 existing manual read water meters with new automated water meters. A.2. STANDARD PROJECT REQUIREMENTS. A.2.1 Acknowledgements. The Recipient shall include the following acknowledgement in any document, written report, or brochure prepared in whole or in part pursuant to this Agreement: "Funding for this project has been provided in full or in part through an agreement with the State Water Resources Control Board. California's Drinking Water State Revolving Fund is capitalized through a variety of funding sources, including grants from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and state bond proceeds. The contents of this document do not necessarily reflect the views and policies of the foregoing, nor does mention of trade names or commercial products constitute endorsement or recommendation for use." A.2.2 Reports A.2.2.1 Progress Reports. (a) The Recipient must provide a progress report to the Division each quarter, beginning no later than 90 days after execution of this Agreement. (b) The Recipient must provide a progress report with each reimbursement request. Failure to provide a complete and accurate progress report may result in the withholding of Project Funds, as set forth in Exhibit B. (c) A progress report must contain the following information: A summary of progress to date including a description of progress since the last report, percent construction complete, percent contractor invoiced, and percent schedule elapsed; A description of compliance with environmental requirements; III. A listing of change orders including amount, description of work, and change in contract amount and schedule; and Exhibit A
