OCCUPATIONAL OBJECTIVES <br />The objective is to meet the requirement for trained individuals to secure employment in the field of addiction <br />studies, and provide the student with possible advancement opportunities. <br />GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS <br />In order to graduate, students must: <br />1. Earn the required total number of credits for the degree <br />2. Complete required coursework within the maximum time frame permitted. <br />3. Earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or above. <br />4. Achieve a minimum 80% cumulative attendance. <br />BACHELOR'S DEGREE APPLICATION PROCESS AND REQUIREMENTS <br />1. All applicants must participate in an Admissions interview conducted by the Director of Admissions ordesignee. <br />2. Submit an application to InterCoast Colleges. All applications must be complete. No partial applications will be <br />accepted. <br />3. Submit official transcripts from all post -secondary institutions attended. A maximum number of credits may be <br />transferred from an accredited college or university in accordance with the InterCoast Colleges transfer credit <br />policy as stated in the school catalog. Transferability of credit from other institutions must be substantially <br />similar to course content required in the program. All final decisions regarding the acceptance of transfer <br />credits are made by the Acceptance Committee and InterCoast College's school official. <br />4. Arrangements for payment of all tuition and fees must be completed during the admissions process and prior <br />to interview with the acceptance committee panel, <br />5. Submission of a complete application, including tuition arrangements, transfer credit records, certification, if <br />applicable, is required in order to schedule the acceptance committee panel interview. No partial applications <br />will be considered. <br />6. Acceptance Committee consisting of atleastthreemembers ofthe InterCoast College's seniormanagementwill <br />review applications to determine eligibility for a panel interview. <br />7. All candidates will be interviewed by a panel as part of their Admissions acceptance process. Candidates will <br />be asked questions about their career goals, previous related work experience, educational background and <br />other special considerations that the applicant believes will confirm their readiness andappropriateness forthe <br />program. <br />8. Once the applicant is accepted, they will be sent an email confirmation. The applicant will be required to <br />confirm their intention to attend the program within seven calendar days. <br />9.
