SCHOOL, CATALOG. • <br />Publication Title: Modern Technology School Catalog 2023 <br />APPROVAL DISCLOSURE STATEMENT: <br />Modern Technology School's approval to operate as a private postsecondary institution in the State of <br />California is based on provisions of the California Private Postsecondary Education Act (CPPEA) of <br />2009 (California Educational Code, Title 3, Division 10, Part 59, Chapter 8), which was effective <br />January 1, 2010. <br />The following courses are licensed and currently offered: <br />MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT / BACK OFFICE 1 30 WKS I 600 <br />X-RAY TECHNICIAN / MEDICAL ASSISTANT I 44 WKS I 1155 <br />DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL ULTRASOUND / VASCULAR TECHNOLOGY 76 WKS 2172 <br />Instruction is in residence with facility occupancy level accommodating a maximum of 8-10 students <br />at any one time for the Medical Office Assistant/Back Office, X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant <br />Program, or the Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound/Vascular Technology Program. <br />California statute requires that a student, who successfully completes a course of study, be awarded <br />an appropriate diploma or certificate verifying the fact. Modern Technology School awards diplomas. <br />Before enrolling or signing enrollment agreements, prospective students are encouraged to <br />visit the facilities and discuss personal, educational, and occupational plans with school <br />personnel. The School currently participates in sponsored programs, government or otherwise, which <br />provide grants or pay portions of tuition and fees, such as the Federal Pell Grant and Federal <br />Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants—FSEOG. <br />As a prospective student, you are encouraged to review this catalog before signing an enrollment <br />agreement. You are also encouraged to review the School Performance Fact Sheet, which must be <br />provided to you before signing an enrollment agreement. <br />Modern Technology School does not have a pending petition in bankruptcy, is not operating as a debtor <br />& has not filed a petition for the preceding five years. This institution has not filed a petition for <br />bankruptcy resulting in reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (11 USC <br />Sec. 1101). Modern Technology School is a private institution approved to operate by the bureau. That <br />approval to operate means compliance with state standards outlined in the CEC and 5, CCR. The <br />Bureau does not endorse the School's programs. <br />
