Admissions <br />Requirements <br />Requirements and <br />. Be at least 18 years of age (past the age of compulsory education) <br />Enrollment Procedure <br />for Certificate, <br />. Complete an application <br />Associate, and <br />• Submit a non-refundable registration fee of $150 <br />Bachelor's Degree <br />. Students must submit proof of no less than a high school credential, defined as a <br />Programs <br />high school diploma issued by a state approved or accredited public or private, <br />high school or an equivalent credential in the U.S. Such equivalents include the <br />following: <br />1. The Certificate of Proficiency Equivalency Report as described on page 27 in <br />this catalog, based on completion of the High School Proficiency Examination <br />with satisfactory scores. <br />2. The California High School Equivalency Certificate (GED): applicant must have <br />a minimum score of 45 on each of the five sections and an overall score of 250 <br />or higher. <br />• Pass an entrance examination (except those applying for the EFL Program) <br />• Students enrolling in a program offered online must successfully complete an Online <br />Assessment Quiz and confirm they have or have access to equipment which meets <br />the online technology requirements. <br />• Satisfy additional requirements, for students enrolling in Computer/Real Estate <br />and Finance/General Contractor programs, as specified below. <br />f Complete all enrollment documents. <br />Programs Specific Entrance Requirements and Examinations <br />Certificate Programs of Computer / Real Estate and Finance / Contractor License: All <br />applicants to Learnet must pass an Entrance Examination, the Scholastic Level Exam (SLE). <br />Testing must be completed prior to signing the enrollment agreement. Learnet uses the <br />Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam (SLE), a nationally recognized standardized test that <br />measures an applicant's potential for successfully completing the program in which they plan <br />to enroll. If the student does not receive a passing score, the student may take the test again <br />after seven days: there is limit to three times for retake. The test shall be given by the <br />institution on its premises. A score of 17 or above is required: <br />In addition to these admissions requirements, students in the Contractor License course of <br />study must also provide proof of 2 to 4 years of practice experience in the field and a <br />certificate of experience by an employer in the field. <br />English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Program / TOEFL iBT Program: Each student is given a <br />written placement test at enrollment or shortly after that, but before beginning classes. <br />Students are placed in levels corresponding to performance on this exam. Students are <br />allowed to request a level change during the first week of the term only. They must have <br />the consent of the Dean. Students must make an appointment to meet directly with the <br />Dean for this request, The Dean will decide upon the students' re -test and a meeting with <br />the teacher of the level to which they want to change. <br />Procedure <br />Complete the following enrollment paperwork. Copies of paperwork from this <br />Section, parts 1 and 2 are given to the student at the time of enrollment. Students <br />can print out the rest of the paperwork outlined below from <br />http://www.learnet.edu , or will be provided in hard copy upon request. <br />1. Enrollment Agreement, a valid form of Identification, Entrance Record <br />(Admissions Application and Interview), Entrance Test, Promissory Note (cash <br />only) for Student File <br />2, Student Disclosure Form <br />Last Revision Date on April 4, 2023 <br />
