The report provides an
analysis of the combined recreational value of three proposed sites in comparison with the CEC Site
at Centennial Park and includes a site analysis; review of policies, plans, and trends; community
park need analysis; recreational opportunities and constraints analysis; and conclusion, which
demonstrates that the three proposed replacement properties (McFadden Site, 6th Street Site, and
Raitt Street Site) would provide equal or greater recreational value.
Highlights Successfully satisfied the National Parks Service's complex criteria for transferring
land use restrictions from the CEC site to three very different new park sites
located in different socio-economic areas of the city.
Location Santa Ana, California
Year Completed 2018 (Value Assessment) 12020 (CEQA/NEPA)
Client Contact Ron Ono, Administrative Services Manager, City of Santa Ana I Retired
Proposal for5ervices • PLACEWORKS 1-19
