The City's former
leaders envisioned this important project to enhance recreation
opportunities and the quality of life for the community at large.
After extensive community engagement, a conceptual site plan
was created. Our team was hired to work with the City, Staff,
and Stakeholders to further develop the plan according to the
communities' needs and desires and elevate the concept by
creating a meaningful place, not just a design.
Renovations for La Palma Park include a brand new community
building with an open -style roller hockey arena, a vibrant splash
pad, sports fields (synthetic and natural turf), an adventure-themed
play space, multiple fitness spaces, including an exciting "ninja
warrior" course, amphitheater and event space for community
gatherings, picnicking, tree -lined pedestrian promenades and public
art throughout the park experience.
Citrn/Sm?1a Ina I PROPOSAL FOR ON -CALL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
9
