What <br /> other labor unions in Orange County pour <br /> $400,000 into a local, city election. And <br /> why? Stop the nonsense already. Don't <br /> support the recall. <br /> Tonight on the agenda is a proposed MOU with <br /> the Santa Ana Police Officers <br /> Association. After many negotiation sessions <br /> and courage shown by the City Council when it <br /> imposed a last, best and final offer we end up <br /> with a deal that is even worse than what we <br /> started with. While residents in Santa Ana <br /> struggle to put food on the table, gas in their <br /> cars and pay for utilities, the POA members <br /> who don't live here get huge raises, <br /> outrageous benefits and millions of dollars will <br /> continue to flow into the POA coffers to fund <br /> political campaigns. Why? <br /> 4 <br />
