Ef' <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />EXHIBIT I <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall perform the services as set forth below. <br />I. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Consultant shall design, fabricate, and install interpretive displays at City zoos, aquariums, <br />museums, and nature centers. <br />B. Consultant shall be responsible for delivering a turn -key project from conceptual design through final <br />installation at the EcoCenter. <br />C. Consultant shall be fully responsible for content generation, photos, and any other media necessary <br />for completion of the project. The City will provide staff to participate in the design process and <br />provide feedback on proposed designs and messaging. <br />D. Consultant shall be expected to provide plans, 3-D renderings, or other materials that convey the <br />design and feel of the final exhibits to stakeholders. <br />II. BRANDING AND OTHER EXTERIOR ELEMENTS <br />A. The City has developed a new logo for the EcoCenter and expects to incorporate it into exterior <br />branding as part of this project. Small interpretive elements may be considered for use around the <br />Nature Center to extend reach beyond the interior exhibit hall, but any external elements must be <br />very durable to resist natural and human activities. <br />B. Existing elements within the exhibit hall can be removed to create a clean palette. However, the City <br />prefers to preserve the painted mural on wall. <br />C. Although overhead lighting tracks exist, Contractor should propose and make lighting and audio <br />improvements for new displays. <br />III. INSTALLATION AND SAFETY <br />A. Where applicable for installation services, prevailing wages must be paid and documented for all <br />field personnel in accordance with California Labor Code § 1770-1781, et seq. <br />B. Contractor shall keep work areas clean and free from any debris, rubbish, hazardous waste and <br />non -usable material resulting from the work under this Contract and shall be disposed of at the <br />completion of each work day by the Contractor. Hazardous waste must be disposed of in accordance <br />with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and all other applicable federal, state, and local <br />laws and regulations. <br />RFP No. 22-111 Interpretive Exhibits at Santiago Creek Eco-Center 19 <br />
