<br />Natalie will work with the team to interpret the project's graphic goals,
<br />objectives, standards, develop style templates, produce prototype graphics,
<br />and design custom graphics and graphic design files as necessary, for the
<br />successful delivery of exhibit elements. She will produce the graphic'look
<br />and feel' of the project. She will prepare designs for the graphic elements
<br />throughout the space. She will incorporate interpretive text through
<br />collaboration with the content, research, and writing team. Natalie has
<br />designed graphics for a number of dynamic and flexible visitor centers, exhibits, museums, zoos, and
<br />discovery centers, making her well suited to this project. She has extensive experience working with
<br />highly complex subjects and her design sensibility around content is a great asset. She will aim to
<br />establish a unique, memorable, and timeless visual approach to the project.

<br />Calgary Zoo: Bugtopia Playground Outdoor Interpretation and Signage, Calgary, All, CA
<br />Role: Graphic Designer
<br />As graphic designer on the Calgary Zoo's new outdoor nature play space, Natalie was tasked with
<br />creating an approach that was whimsical, informative, and fun, appealing to the visitors enjoying the play
<br />structures and site. Simple and approachable bug illustrations gave children an easy way to learn about
<br />local species. The illustrations were placed onto playfully shaped panels such as leaves, flowers, and grass
<br />throughout the playground for children to discover while remaining cohesive with the overall immersive
<br />experience. As an outdoor installation, the interpretation had to be robust enough to withstand not only
<br />the weather elements, but also the tactile interactions of the children using the play structure.
