Kim ley -Horn is very excited for the opportunity to continue our partnership with the City. We have assembled a team that possesses the technical experience and local knowledge that can meet the needs and expectations of the City's residents and stakeholders. We are confident our team can meet the City's expectations for the following reasons: Exceptional Experience and Resources. Kimley-Horn has provided similar services for many on -call contracts for municipalities and agencies across California, and we have developed an approach to making every project a success. Project manager Othman Elmezain, P.E. brings 11 years of experience in civil engineering, managing both small and large projects for clients throughout California as part of on -call contracts or as standalone projects. He will be supported by a skilled team of multidisciplinary engineers, planners, and analysts with experience in a range of fields, from traffic engineering and transportation planning to environmental planning and grant writing. We have supplemented our in- house team with On Point Land Surveying, Inc., Bess Testlab, Inc., Twining, Inc., and Avant -Garde, Inc. to provide surveying, potholing, geotechnical and grant writing services, respectively. Our team works regularly with each other on a wide range of projects, allowing us to collaborate with the City efficiently and effectively on task orders without having to establish new lines of communication. Strong Local Presence and Past Experience. Our team of professionals primarily work and live in Orange County and have completed recent work for the City, giving us the local knowledge and experience needed to complete your engineering assignments while coordinating with local stakeholders and regulatory agencies. Our team has worked on the 5"' Street and Santa Ana Boulevard Bike Lane PS&E and the South Main Street Corridor Improvements PS&E projects. We will continue to bring the experience and knowledge gained from these projects to this on -call contract to ensure that our work will meet the needs and standards of the City's residents and local stakeholders. Communication and Responsiveness. We understand that the basis of a successful project is founded on responsiveness and adequate staffing. Kimley-Horn takes pride in having the responsiveness of a small firm coupled with the staffing and resources of a national -level firm. Our one profit center model allows us to shift personnel to various projects to ensure that we have the adequate number of staff with the skills and experience to successfully deliver on any project.
