STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS TETRA TECH SECTION A Cover Letter March 14, 2023 Sean Thomas City of Santa Ana 20 Civic Center Plaza, M-36 Santa Ana, CA 92701 Reference: RFP No.: 23-030, On -Call Engineering Services Mr. Thomas, Thank you for the opportunity to submit our Statement of Qualifications to provide On -Call Engineering Services. We value the relationship we have built with the City of Santa Ana through our past and currently ongoing projects. We are committed to providing the City with the same consistent, diligent, high -quality service that you expect and deserve, and have seen from Tetra Tech. Our project team is the right team to provide these On -Call Services for the following reasons: Proven Expertise: Tetra Tech has been providing similar on -call engineering services for more than 35 clients in Southern California. Many of these clients are repeat clients as Tetra Tech has provided service and innovative solutions on -time and within budget. Our reputation as a leader in consulting engineering is validated by Top 10 ratings annually by Engineering News -Record. Tetra Tech consistently ranks among the top engineering firms. In 2022, Tetra Tech was rated No. 4 among the top 500 Design Finns nationwide. Extensive City WaterlWastewater Design Experience: Members of our project team have completed more than 47 water/wastewater projects for the City since 1999. Our project team knows the City s design requirements and standards, preferred materials, and operational preferences which will allow us to complete designs in the most cost-effective manner. Local Staffing and In-house Capabilities: We are proud to be embedded with the local fabric of a community in which we live, work, and play. Although we can draw from a large pool of nationwide resources, our Irvine office has experienced staff ready to mobilize at a moment's notice to meet the City's needs. Tetra Tech can best serve the City on this on -call due to our ability to provide most of the key disciplines and services in-house, leading to an efficient and well -coordinated set of construction documents. We can self -perform the project planning, feasibility studies, surveying, environmental documentation, permitting, project design, bid support, construction support, and post -construction support tasks with top-notch professionals that have built expertise in civil works projects, City facilities, parks, and other related projects. This brings consistency and the ability to execute with no learning curve.
