Description <br />This course provides an overview of Google Cloud Platform products and services. Through a combination of <br />presentations, demos, and hands-on labs, students learn the value of Google Cloud Platform and how to <br />incorporate cloud -based solutions into business strategies. <br />Acquired Skills <br />Identify the purpose and value of Google Cloud Platform products and services <br />Interact with Google Cloud Platform services <br />Describe ways in which customers have used Google Cloud Platform <br />Choose among and use application deployment environments on Google Cloud Platform: Google App Engine, <br />Google Kubernetes Engine, and Google Compute Engine <br />Choose among and use Google Cloud Platform storage options: Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud SQL, <br />Google Cloud Bigtable, and Google Cloud Datastore <br />Make basic use of BigQuery, Google's managed data warehouse for analytics <br />Make basic use of Cloud Deployment Manager, Google's tool for creating and managing cloud resources through <br />templates <br />Make basic use of Google Stackdriver, Google's monitoring, logging, and diagnostics system <br />Grammar Essentials <br />Description <br />In this course, students will review the rules of grammar, identify common grammar errors, and refine their business <br />writing style. <br />Acquired Skills <br />examine nouns, pronouns, and verbs. <br />identify adjectives and adverbs. <br />identify prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. <br />identify some important rules of grammar and some commonly made grammatical errors. <br />identify grammar rules regarding correct punctuation. <br />identify problematic sentence fragments, run-ons, and comma splices, as well as effective methods of rewriting <br />sentences so that they are clear and complete. <br />identify methods for improving word choices. <br />identify methods for building effective sentences. <br />identify methods for editing text effectively. <br />identify methods for avoiding some common errors made by overzealous writers who create hypercorrections in <br />their own work. <br />Handling a Difficult Customer <br />Description <br />In this course, students will gain a valuable skill set to deal with difficult customers in various situations. <br />Acquired Skills <br />Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to deal with difficult customers in a way that <br />increases productivity and customer service, and decreases unhappy customers. <br />HTML 5 - Content Authoring with New and Advanced Features <br />Description <br />This course focuses on the new and advanced features of HTML5, covering how to create HTML5 and CSS3 <br />markup that will work well on the widest possible variety of web browsers, mobile devices, and machine readers, <br />such as search engine web crawlers. <br />Acquired Skills <br />Optimize HTML content to take advantage of HTML5 and CSS3 features. <br />Write advanced CS33 selectors and media queries. <br />Use advanced background and border options introduced in CSS3. <br />Use advanced text formatting options introduced in CSS3. <br />Use HTML5 graphics and multimedia elements, including transforms, animation, audio, and video. <br />Follow best practices to enable HTML content to be successfully processed by many different web browsers and <br />machine readers. <br />
