The goal of this program is to address the growing problem of victimization of program clients <br />through a collaborative case management strategy, using vocational, educational, and financial stability services to <br />help low-income families earn more and keep more of what they earn, and make community connections for the <br />prevention of crime to sustain financial stability. <br />The Case Manager will assume the lead in coordinating all aspects of the program. Oversees program development, <br />implementation, supervision, and evaluation; coordinates with other financial stability program activities funded by <br />other sources and will ensure proper accounting and tracking of deliverables to 50 clients. Serves as a mentor, trains <br />& supervises client leaders to engage in crime prevention advocacy; coordinates with & schedules guest speakers and <br />assists with developing and conducting workshops and other activities. <br />The Client Advocate will assist with intake, assessment, and orientation; scheduling clients for services; making <br />follow-up phone calls; developing lesson plans and conducting financial stability and workforce development <br />workshops; assist with client crime prevention advocacy work; assist with crime prevention workshops. <br />The Promotoras will be recruited from the clients themselves or parents in the local schools or residents in the <br />neighborhood. They will be trained to take a leadership role in advocating for crime prevention and awareness. <br />Other expenses will include materials and supplies for case file management, and supplies to assist with childcare <br />during program activities. Also, marketing and outreach supplies will include brochures and printed promotional <br />items. <br />Delhi Center will absorb the cost of the Associate Director and Administrative costs that were originally budgeted in <br />the original application. <br />(Exhibit A) <br />
